"The question then arises, are Hezbollah and Iran,
with their proxies in Yemen and Iraq, ready for this?
And are the Zionist entity and the Western colonial powers, led by the US,
seeking such a war despite their repeated denials and calls for calm?
These questions demand answers as tensions rise across the Middle East."
The Zionist entity has achieved several successes in Lebanon over the past year, from killing Palestinian Hamas leader Saleh Al-Arouri and Hezbollah official Fuad Shukr, to last week’s pager and walkie-talkie attacks, as well as killing others such as Ibrahim Aqil and Ahmed Wahbi. All of these attacks were concentrated in the southern suburbs of Beirut, the stronghold of Hezbollah.
We need to understand that the Lebanese resistance group is up against Israeli, US, British and German intelligence agencies, and probably even some Arab intelligence agencies as well, all of whom are hostile to Hezbollah and the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas. They are against any resistance that threatens the Zionist entity, especially if it is Islamic and is ready for armed struggle against the Israeli occupation.
Armed struggle against military occupation is legitimate under international law, of course.
And we must not forget that the Lebanese security services are fed up with Hezbollah and its weapons, regarding it as a state within a state that occupies Lebanon and works under the command of Iran. Hezbollah’s loyalty, they say, is to Iran and not to Lebanon. Their hidden hostility towards the movement is no less than that of the Zionist entity...

United Nations organizations and international relief aid agencies warn of a looming regional war, stressing that the “appalling human suffering’ in Gaza should end.
The Principals of the Inter-Agency Standing Committee (IASC) warned on Monday of the threat of an imminent wider regional escalation and renewed their demand for “an end to the appalling human suffering and humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza,” according to a statement issued by the committee.
The signatories on IASC mourned the loss of innocent people, urgently calling for “an immediate and unconditional ceasefire,” which they said is the “only way to end the suffering of civilians and save lives.”
The signatories, which included a number of United Nations organizations and other international aid relief organizations, accentuated the immense human loss in the besieged Gaza Strip citing numbers by the Ministry of Health in Gaza...

WHY I HATE ZIONISM AND ITS BACKERS MORE THAN EVER!

Each new atrocity in Gaza brought forth performative and useless expressions of concern from Western leaders and most Arab regimes, often coined as a “global outcry”.
The parallels between past Israeli massacres and the current Gaza genocide are both haunting and eerie (Illustrated by Mahdi Rtail; Al Mayadeen English)
"There was an assumption that at some point, the US-led empire would realize that “Israel” was damaging its national interests and would turn away from its unconditional support.
Although this may still occur, the interdependency between the interests of Zionism and its imperial backers is now more solidified than ever.
Both realize that the downfall of Zionism will contribute to greatly diminishing the power of the US and its allies in the region (and globally), and this is the leverage that Israeli PM Netanyahu is exploiting to the fullest.'
Two months into the Gaza genocide, I wrote an article about why I hated the cruel ideology of Zionism and everything it had done to the Palestinian people. At that point, most activists could not imagine that this genocide would now be close to reaching its first anniversary and that almost one year on, we would still be seeing the images of headless children, bodies draped off the edges of buildings, and humiliated and tortured detainees proudly displayed by their captors.
Each new atrocity brought forth performative and useless expressions of concern from Western leaders and most Arab regimes, often coined as a “global outcry”. With the tent massacre in Rafah, we thought that surely the world would now intervene to stop this, and then again with the horrific revelations from Sde Teiman prison and the defense of such by many Israeli legislators. But we were wrong, and this new phase of openly dispossessing and crushing Palestinians continues unabated. It not only continues but also brings new levels of destruction as in this week’s al-Mawasi massacre where two-ton US-made bombs obliterated humble tents and everything and everyone they housed.
Over and over again, the grief and rage of Palestinians also grow in ways that will impact generations to come. Whether in historic Palestine, in Arab countries, or the broader diaspora, the Palestinian national consensus going forward has been permanently altered by the carnage in Gaza and the lack of a global response...
