Уважаемый господин Президент Путин,
Я пишу это письмо не как девушка, стремящаяся к славе или переменам ради себя. Я пишу как аноним, который хочет передать свет тому, кто, возможно, его теряет. Я давно поняла, что доброта и смирение способны менять души. Они могут изменить весь мир, если люди позволят им место в шуме повседневности. Я знаю, что даже доброта и смирение могут причинить боль, особенно когда за них не говорят «спасибо». Но, возможно, это лучшее, что можно сделать — ради тех, кого мы любим, и ради себя. Помните: не знать — это не слабость. А знать больше — не означает превосходство. Я спрашиваю Вас голосом всех матерей, потерявших своих сыновей: Что лучше — знать или не знать? Я верю, что в каждом человеке, независимо от его положения, наступает момент тишины. И в этой тишине мы не спрашиваем, сколько мы получили… а сколько боли мы могли предотвратить. Возможно, я не могу изменить законы или границы. Но я могу написать Вам это письмо. И задать вопрос, который приходит не как протест, а как просьба: Что останется в памяти тех, кто придёт после нас, если мы сейчас не остановим боль? Пишет женщина. Сильная и без предубеждений. Сознательная, умная и чувствительная… И, главное, смелая и добрая. А в этой доброте скрыта самая большая храбрость.
