Do we want to witness another Hiroshima or Nagasaki, but this time in the West? This almost inescapable inevitability will be averted at the last minute. But the clock is ticking. We are close to midnight.
If you haven’t had the chance to read last week’s Monday Edition, I invite you to take a look at the uplifting words from Saint Pope John Paul II, dated 25 February 1981, directly from Hiroshima, Japan.
THE EVANGELICAL POPE | REMEMBERING THE PAST IS A COMMITMENT TO THE FUTURE.

Living Words from John Paul II

Each week, we let Saint Pope John Paul II share meaningful signposts to spark socio-economic resolves through justice and righteousness combined with mercy and compassion; in short, love.
Hiroshima, Japan, 25 February 1981 | War is the work of man. War is the destruction of human life. War is death.
Nowhere are these truths made more apparent than in Hiroshima, in this very Monument to Peace. Two Japanese cities, Hiroshima and Nagasaki, will be forever linked by the darkest chapter in human history. They are the only cities in the world to have experienced such devastating destruction, serving as a stark reminder of humanity's capacity for immense suffering. For all eternity, their names will be etched in our collective memory as a warning to future generations that war can undo all human progress toward building a peaceful world.
Mr. Mayor, dear friends, and everyone who's listening to my voice and receiving my message:
1. Today, I come here with great emotion, a pilgrim of peace. I felt compelled to visit the Hiroshima Peace Memorial because I firmly believe that remembering the past is a commitment to the future.
What is the Side of the Story that is Not Yet Decisive? Edited by Abraham A. van Kempen
The Emerged Multi-Polar World Versus EU/US-NATO Uni-Polarity
Underreported in the West, a million Ukrainians and Russians lost their lives to prevent World War III, even though the battles to defeat Russia were essentially World War III by proxy: the Collective West – EU-US/NATO – against the Russian Federation. It turned out that for every 100 dead Ukrainians, 10 Russians made the ultimate sacrifice.
The War to End All Wars – the EU-US/NATO versus the Russian Federation – has strengthened, not weakened, Russia. Alongside Brazil, India, China, and South Africa, Russia expanded BRICS to include now eleven countries: its five original members – Brazil, China, India, Russia, and South Africa – and six new members admitted in 2024-25: Egypt, Ethiopia, Indonesia, Iran, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates.
As stated by the Brazilian government, which is set to take the rotating BRICS chair in 2025, Vietnam has been accepted as the BRICS group's 10th ‘partner country.’ This partner status is shared with Belarus, Bolivia, Cuba, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Nigeria, Thailand, Uganda, and Uzbekistan.
Furthermore, contrary to the West's predictions, false hopes, and misplaced optimism that Russia would be economically devastated and face social and economic collapse due to the over 28,000 sanctions imposed by the EU-US/NATO, Russia has become more self-sufficient. It has benefited from opening its market for oil, gas, and wheat to countries throughout Eurasia and the Global South.
Throughout this crisis, the Russian Federation has shown its military strength, and alongside China, India, and the other BRICS countries, is now competing in the Middle East to support Egypt, Iran, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates. Neither President Trump nor President Putin would want to change the landscapes of the White House or the Kremlin into a nuclear crater. America First President Trump will not risk America’s nuclear annihilation to protect Tel Aviv despite the rhetoric.

Neo-colonialism has come to an end.
- No more, what is mine is mine, what is yours is mine also.
- No more, it’s either my way or the highway.
- No more, if you don’t do it my way, you’re dead meat.
The Collective West and its Coalition of the Willing are still living in their own fantasy world. But not for long.
Post Script
I support my friends in Iran who are struggling to bring about regime change. The days of the mullahs' rule are coming to an end. But now, Israel is uniting Iran’s opposition to help defend Iran against a life-or-death struggle with the Collective West. Iranians don’t want a regime change if it means playing Russian Roulette with our lives – and neither do I.

Those who commit to 'healing our broken humanity' build intercultural bridges to learn to know and understand one another and others. Readers who thumb through the Building the Bridge (BTB) pages are not mindless sheep following other mindless sheep. They THINK. They want to be at the forefront of making a difference. They're in search of the bigger picture to expand their horizons. They don't need BTB or anyone else to confirm their biases.
Making a Difference – The Means, Methods, and Mechanism for Many to Move Mountains
Accurate knowledge fosters understanding, dispels prejudice, and sparks a desire to learn more about the subject. Words have an extraordinary power to bring people together, divide them, forge bonds of friendship, or provoke hostility. Modern technology offers unprecedented possibilities for good, fostering harmony and reconciliation. Yet, its misuse can cause untold harm, leading to misunderstandings, prejudices, and conflicts.
