Fulda Cathedral, Fulda, Germany
Each week we let Saint Pope John Paul II share meaningful signposts to spark socio-economic resolves through justice and righteousness combined with mercy and compassion; in short, love.
“Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience.”
__ Colossians 3:12 (New International Version)
Fulda, Bundesrepublik Deutschland – 18 November 1980 | When individuals, particularly youth, earnestly seek the meaning of life, provide them with a thoughtful and precise response.
If the right to life and the ethical foundations of a genuinely humane culture are jeopardized, defend human rights and human dignity!
If an overly functional and shallow perspective of humanity emerges in education, promote an educational approach recognizing humanity as God's image!
In a society influenced by consumption and excess on one side and fears about the limits of growth on the other, cultivate a new way of living that embodies the hope offered by Christ and fosters humane conditions.
Saint Boniface had an inspiring sister, St. Abbess Lioba, whose burial site we honor just a few kilometers away. It’s so important for us to ensure that women in our society and Church are acknowledged and respected for their essential contributions. Their roles are crucial in creating a truly humane and Christian way of life.
As humanity continues to advance, it's important to recognize that many people still find themselves left behind and unable to share in the rewards of our progress. Let’s come together to protect the rights and well-being of everyone, while fostering a global community that values freedom, justice, and peace for all.
