Each week we let Saint Pope John Paul II share meaningful signposts to spark socio-economic resolves through justice and righteousness combined with mercy and compassion; in short, love.
14 Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”
__ Matthew 19:14 (New International Version)
Salvador Bahia, Brazil – 20 October 1991 | If being a child is so important, then all children are essential.
There cannot and should not be any abandoned children. And no children without family either.
And no street children.
There should also be no children who are abused by adults for immoral purposes, drug trafficking, and primary and minor crimes.
There should not be children in reform institutions where it is impossible to provide a proper education.
Children should not and cannot be killed or liquidated under the pretext of committing crimes. There should and cannot be children who are sentenced to death.
The Pope requests and demands this in the name of God and his son, who was a child.
