The Manure You Can’t Stick Back into the Horse …

A Game Changer …

About a year ago I met ‘Rich’ on the phone. I think that’s his name. It could have been ‘Ralph.’ I never met him. I’ve neither seen him before nor since. He called me to sell me something. I can’t even remember what. He’s retired in Florida and has 79 years of street-wise smarts inside his soul. I told him I’m working on my book. “The common thread, the overall theme will be about dignity … to dignify God, you must dignify the other … we’re all created in His image. And, I’m going to do my best to gently convince the 70 million Evangelicals in the United States and their 600+ million followers around the world to get off the Israeli bandwagon, to stop supporting Israeli atrocities against the indigenous people of Palestine ... because Israel’s crimes against humanity are anti-Christian … what’s more, Rich, this will be the game changer. If the Evangelicals join me in rebuking Israel’s criminal misconduct against a defenseless people, what do you think would happen to the $6 million a week ‘defense’ package from the United States, that aids and abets Israel’s brutalities; and the $500 million of direct donations to Israel from Christians throughout the United States?”

“Well, good luck,” was Rich’s response.

“From the tone of your voice, it sounds like you think I’m dreaming,” I countered.

“Rich,” I continued, “many Palestinians are more genetically connected to the Ancient Israelites than most European Jews who wandered into the region especially after World War II … most Christians view Modern Israel as Ancient Israel. They are clueless when it comes to what’s really happening in Israel-Palestine and, you know what, I’ve done my homework, I know what I’m talking about … most Christians are clueless when it comes to understanding the fullness of Christianity … and the Second Coming is less about Israel and more about becoming Christ-like,  to be witnesses  of Christ … the WALK, not the talk … just walk the talk ‘in every nation’ (Matthew 14-6).”   

Smell the Stench …

That fired him up. “Abraham,” he said, “Don’t write the same superfluities (speaking in a pronounced New York-Irish accent, he actually uses a more guttural term, the ‘s’ word). “You want to write a game changer, a bestseller? Expose Israel! Name one by one the manure (he uses that same ‘s’ word again) that you just can’t put back into the horse and let people smell the stench.” Wow! That got me thinking of my childhood … the scent of manure in the early morning dew above the meadows with the water vapor still hanging above the ground. We were on the phone for at least an hour-and-a-half.

“I’m not going to tell you how to write your book, but I want you to bulldoze through the brick wall of ‘anti-Semitism.’ They’re going to rake you over the coals … but, let me tell you and listen good, I’ve done my homework too, nothing is more anti-Semitic than Zionism.” That was not a slap in the face. It felt more like a ton of bricks or, worse, a kick in where it would hurt me the most. And then Rich started to rub it in even more.

Nothing is More Godless than …

“In fact,’ he says, “it’s worse than that. Are you ready? Nothing is more anti-Christian than Zionism. Nothing is more anti-Muslim than Zionism. Nothing is more godless, inhumane, heartless, merciless, brutal, ruthless, vicious, and indecent than Zionism. Now do your research. And if your findings corroborate with what I just said, shout from the mountain tops, tell the world … you’re a Jew … prove your case … at most they’ll vilify you as ‘Judenrat’ … me, they’d charge me with anti-Semitism and they might even slap me with some hate crime.”

I had one other such meaningful telephone conversation in my life with the woman who became my wife, 34 years ago. We just had our first date, a disaster. Our second date was an impromptu phone call. We didn’t know what was in store for us. For days my mother badgered me with: “Have you thanked her yet?” My future wife painstakingly prepared lunch, which an hour or so later, I vomited out, all of it, thank goodness into the toilet. How does one say: “I’m sorry I threw up all your food … it isn’t the food, it’s me … maybe I was sick or something …?” I really blew it. My macho self-image imploded right in front of her.

Finally, on a Wednesday night at 21.00 hours (9 P.M.) I thought “let me get this over and done with and swallow my pride.” It turned out to be the serendipity of serendipities. The phone call lasted from 9.00 P.M. until 3.30 A.M., 6.5 hours. Our conversation was open and honest, exuberant and exhilarating. If we discussed the puking incident, it was hardly a talking point. At around 3.15 A.M. the next morning – and this is all that I can still remember – I asked, “If I were to ask you to marry me, how would you respond?”

She responded impulsively with “yes.”

“Really? You mean that?”

“Yes!”

Just like that. Six weeks later we were on our honeymoon. We’re still together through thick and thin with all the ups and downs. Of course, it was a marriage made in heaven. We recognized it. We went for it, in faith. Don’t think for one moment it’s been an easy ride. To give you an idea, it took us one week to negotiate our eldest son’s name. He was nameless for a week. She is strong willed; me, too; and, so are our children. What a family!

Now back to Rich.  “You know what, Rich, all over the Middle East – it doesn’t matter whether I’m in Kuwait, Bahrain, Jordan or Iraq – all over many Arabs think the Jews rule the world because they believe the Jews have their fingers deeply rooted in the global economic pie. Many Jews are reasonably well off and some are fairly wealthy but that’s because they work hard, are well educated and well connected. I don’t know one Jew who is as wealthy as some of the true well-to-do in Europe. I don’t know one Jew with controlling interest in ‘money in money,’ I mean ‘real money,’ like in the too-big-to-fail-banks, insurance companies, stock and investment exchanges, global real estate holdings, etc. My former neighbor, Steve Wynn, who build a vast estate right in front of our house is a global phenomenon. He operates Wynn Casinos but his wealth – maybe a $billion or so – is small potatoes compared to the handful Goyim who own controlling interests in organizations like the Dutch ING Bank, once the largest bank on earth; or, the handful who own controlling interest in Royal Dutch Shell, the world’s largest corporation.

Do you know of any Jew with controlling interest in energy resources and all forms thereof, not just oil and gas but also alternative forms of energy such as wind power, solar energy, etc. What about the military industrial complex? Jews are getting their feet wet in this industry making and selling some top-secret weapons, which are not all that secret.  But they do not own controlling interest in any of the major players of this global industry. Don’t get me wrong. ‘Security’ is one of Israel’s top exports. But compared to the ‘big boys,’ Israel’s stake in the military industrial complex is like a mom-and-pop candy store. With destruction comes construction. Do Jews own controlling interests in companies like Bechtel, Halliburton, and Heidemij-Arcadis, global and mega-construction firms that do not just build a neighborhood but entire cities, if not countries?

But Jews are firmly cradled in the Information Industry. Hollywood is controlled by Jews. So are television, radio and print media especially in the United States. It’s the perfect industry if you want to shape public opinion and control how and what the masses think. The handful in Beverly Hills I know won’t talk publicly how Israel influences the way America thinks.

And, Israel has become another Silicon Valley. I’m proud of Israeli prowess in information technology, including software development and Israel’s contribution to space-age engineering and design; and, pharmacology. Jews are intensely and passionately represented in the letters, arts, and sciences not just in academia but also in theater, literature and medicine, not to mention business and finance.”

“Have you heard of Rothschild,” a whisper from Rich coming from out of the blue.

“Who hasn’t heard of Rothschild?” I responded.

“They own and control the banking system of the world,” Rich said, and I sensed him quivering on the other end of the line.

I’ve heard that so often to the point of ad nauseum. Am I missing something? Rothschild & Co doesn’t do anything different than Kempen & Co, the merchant bank in the Netherlands. For the life of me, I can’t figure out why The Rothschild Group is feared by many and Kempen & Co is not even on the radar when both have started at about the same time and basically compete in the same type of business going after the same customers? Rothschild & Co might be more globally positioned and bigger than Kempen & Co but not big enough to control the banking systems in just about every economy on earth. Such hype! Bizarre!

What’s also farfetched is that the 15 million Jews alive today rule Israel. Some even claim the world. Ludicrous! How can 15 million Jews rule our total population of 7.6 billion people. Though Israel touts itself as the supra-national state for Jews-only, less than half of all the Jews permanently reside in Israel. What’s more, close to half the Jews, including many Israelis living in Israel are working toward reaching a change of course. What’s going on today is unsustainable. Modern Israel has managed to shoot itself in both feet too often. Soon there won’t be any feet left. It’s time to vote out the ‘rascals,’ the Netanyahu Regime.

What no one seems to notice is that the stinging politically connected 70 million American Evangelicals with their 600+ million followers worldwide have slithered their way into Israel’s ungodly inner sanctum, it’s profane and superficial holy of holies. They are the power behind Netanyahu’s blasphemous throne. If only the Evangelicals reject the far-right, ultra-nationalist Party of the Pharisees, Modern Israel will implode from within and the Land will become an orchard of peace fueled with healing oils of compassion and mercy; God’s Holy Spirit, His everlasting grace.

Ironically, all Christians are by acclamation Zionists but not the Zionism as perverted by the heathens in Modern Israel. Why are true Christians the true Zionists? God's Spirit resides in their souls and Christians 'reside' spiritually in Zion, His Spiritual Kingdom. Ideally, Christians live on Earth as in Zion (“on earth as in heaven,” Matthew 6:10). Modern Israel is NOT Zion. Modern Israel is NOT a heaven on earth. Modern Israel has become a hell on earth for all my people. Why, then, do so many Evangelicals idolize Modern Israel?

And true Zionism, “striving in the path of God, becoming a light among nations” is synonymous to true Jihad. The word ‘Jihad’ frequently appears in the Qur’an with and without military connotations, idiomatically articulated as "striving in the path of God (al-jihad fi sabil Allah).” Jihad, Arabic: جهاد‎‎ jihād, an expression of hope, literally striving or struggling, especially with a praiseworthy aim. The word ‘Zion’ ranks among the most sacred words in Judaism and Christianity and, is just as sacred as the word ‘Jihad’ with strikingly similar meanings and connotations. Zion and Jihad are but two words that connect Jews, Christians and Muslims in our Abrahamic Faiths.

The New Testament ‘in-gathers’ and redeems ALL people, not just one tribe; ALL the nations, not just one state; indeed, glorifying the ONE ‘I Am’ with Many Names – in Hebrew: Hayah asher hayah, ‘I Will Be Who or How or Where I Will Be’ or just Eloah; or, in the Arabic sound-alike, Allah.

The New Covenant 1) frees Modern Jews from their Jews-only, ancestry-ghetto-mentality; 2) renounces Modern Israel's obsession for possession of a Land once promised and fulfilled; and, 3) refutes the Israeli edict: "What’s mine is mine, what’s yours is mine also."

And where is the Promised Land?

“The ‘Promised Land,’” says Jesus Christ, the Messiah … the Promised Land is the Spiritual Kingdom of God, a ‘Land without borders.’ The Title of Ownership, the Deed of Trust of your piece in the Promised Land, the Spiritual Kingdom of God, the ‘New Jerusalem,’ the ‘City of God,’ 'Zion,' is vested in the New Testament, inscribed in blood on Calvary; for all people of all nations; indeed, endowed by God, the one ‘I Am’ with many names of ALL, for ALL.

Chapter 2, ‘Still Wandering’ reminisces how the prophetic ideals of Judaism were hijacked by the ultra-nationalists, a minority still tyrannizing the silent majority, to go for the easy kill and to steal and destroy. Rich is right. ‘Zionism’ as defined and prosecuted by Modern Israel is Fascism. Fascism is anti-Semitic.  Nothing is more anti-Semitic than Modern Israel’s Zionism or Heathen Zionism. Heathen Zionists have bastardized a most beautiful, God-given word to veil their crimes and ingratiate themselves on the world stage, to justify their atrocities against a defenseless people under the banner of Holy Goodness. It is worse than FAKE, it is FALSE. They have grimly misrepresented and gravely misconstrued true Zionism as depicted in the Sacred Texts.

Many Jews are atheists not ‘Jewish’ (a religious Jew who observes Judaism). According to a 2015 WIN/ Gallup Poll, 65 percent of the Israeli population “said that they are either not religious or convinced atheists, compared to just 30 percent who say that they are religious.”

Fake Zionism has been a rupture and a rebellion against Judaism, Christianity and Islam. The ‘return to a homeland’ with a modus operandi of ‘taking – attacking, invading, dispossessing, displacing and imprisoning the indigenous people of Palestine – rather than humbly giving as exemplified by the biblical Abraham’, defiles all that is good and Holy in our Abrahamic Faiths. When it has emerged in the late 19th century, most religious Jews have rejected this false doctrine, Fascism veiled as Zionism.

Heathen-Zionists reflect their former oppressors by perpetrating an ideology of ethnic cleansing and external expansion and by abandoning democratic norms in pursuit of redemptive violence against anyone who stands in their way without ethical or legal restraints; equipped with lethal modern warfare, under pretense of defense. Their godless faith is in canons of deception, destruction and decadence. They sing the praises of greed and self-indulgence. Heathen-Zionism, hell on earth, is not the same as Biblical-Zionism, heaven on earth.

Chapter 3, ‘A Shared Identity’ reveals why many indigenous Palestinians are genetically related to the Ancient Israelites and why most Jews who wandered into the region, especially after World War II have a spiritual link to the Land with no heritable connection to the Ancient Israelites. Chapter 4, ‘If You Grab Too Much, You’ve Grabbed Nothing at All’ is an even bigger bombshell than Chapter 3.

My favorite is Chapter 5, ‘Abraham …  A Life Without Borders.’ The climax is my 10-point Peace Proposal predicated on fairness and equitability, justice for all my people. And the Epilogue, ‘Fast to Feast’ talks about how we can live ‘side by side’ as exemplified by the biblical Ishmael and Isaac, when they stood side by side at the funeral of their father, the biblical Abraham. The Hebrew Bible says nothing more. They stood side by side, NOT talking to each other, NOT sharing a meal together, NOT dancing with each other and, above all, NOT fighting against each other. They are brothers. The Israeli-Palestinian Quest to Co-exist is biblically preordained, living side by side, dignifying the other.

And now a word to all my friends … all my Israeli friends who are atheists, all my European friends who are agnostics, all my Palestinians friends who are Muslims and all my friends everywhere who might say the same thing as Gandhi, “I’d be a Christian if it weren’t for Christians,” read ‘Christian Zionism … Enraptured Around a Golden Calf’ anyway. The book is about freedom from bondage. It is especially about dignifying the other, honoring our respective differences. I’ve done my best by proposing to fix the problems rather than fixing the blames.

So often, we navigate the highways of life, thinking we’re on the right track, only to discover we’re about to hit a brick wall. To reset our coordinates, we rely on tools, like a hammer to smoothen our dents caused by the many bumps on the road.

          Some pick up their hammers to shatter glass, to harm, injure and destroy.

          Others work their hammers to forge steel, to shape something that lasts.

To quote the late Dr. Robert H. Schuller, “Change, not chains, must be the goal … problems are not stop signs, they are guidelines.”
