Can You Trust God to Let the Chips Fall Where He wants?

Can you think of a better way? Leave Israel solely to God? He needs neither help nor hindrance restoring Israel to become the ‘light among nations’ (Isaiah 49: 6). Israel-Palestine is home. Inside my soul and within all of my being, I am attached to the splendor of its many colors, their tints and hues. Neither the Palestinians nor the Israelis will ever leave. We are all children of Abraham. We all pray to “OUR father in heaven.” We all sin. Jesus commands us to break the chains of bondage. Equality in one democracy under God’s sovereignty is our only hope. This is what my theo-geopolitical eye-opener, ‘Christian Zionism … Enraptured Around a Golden Calf,’ is about. Trust God’s authority!

            …⁵ Why do you keep on rebelling? Do you want to be punished even more? Israel, your head is

            already covered with wounds, and your heart and mind are sick. ⁶ From head to foot there is not

            a healthy spot on your body … ⁷ Your country has been devastated … (Isaiah 1: 5-7 GNT)

True Christians are true Zionists. Most Christians believe that God's Spirit resides in their souls and that Christians reside ‘spiritually’ in Zion, defined as God's Spiritual Kingdom, the NEW Promised Land. Ideally, Christians are to live on Earth as in Zion (heaven Matthew 6: 10). What if the 2.2 billion Christians worldwide invoke the name of Joshua (Hebrew: יְהוֹשֻׁעַ Yehoshuʿa), whose name in Aramaic, the language of Jesus, is Yeshua Hamashiach –  ‘Jesus the Messiah,’ the ‘Anointed One,’ ‘Salvation,’ ‘Prince of Peace?’ In the name of Jesus, we can effectuate an Israeli-Palestinian Thrust to Trust.

‘Zionism,’ taught by Jesus Christ in the New Testament and by the Prophets in the Old Testament, rebukes the current Ultra-nationalist Party of the Pharisees. These neo-Pharisees, including many Christians who add fuel to the fire, trip all over each other, dancing around their golden calf; deifying the land once promised and fulfilled; and, idolizing a ‘chosen’ people many of whom reject God.

Few seem to notice that the powerfully connected 70 million American Evangelicals with their 600+ million followers worldwide have slithered their way into Israel’s ungodly inner sanctum, it’s profane and superficial holy of holies. They are the power, the purse strings, behind the Israeli throne. If only the Evangelicals reprove the ultra-nationalist Party of the Pharisees in the name of Jesus, the Name above all NAMES, Modern Israel will implode from within and the Land will become an orchard of peace fueled with healing oils of compassion and mercy; God’s Holy Spirit, His everlasting grace.

Sixty-five percent of all Israelis claim to be either atheists, agnostics, or non-religious. Aided and abetted by their ‘Christian Soldiers,’ many Pagan-Zionists perpetrate an ideology of ethnic cleansing and external expansion. Their godless faith is in canons of deception, destruction and decadence. Nothing is more inhumane, heartless, merciless, brutal, ruthless, vicious, and indecent than ultra-nationalist Zionism. Nothing is more anti-Semitic, anti-Christian, and anti-Muslim than ultra-nationalist or Pagan-Zionism. Pagan-Zionism, hell on earth, is not the same as biblical-Zionism, heaven on earth.

Though much of Modern Israel resembles the Judea depicted in Isaiah Chapter 1, the region today is still a place where people on all sides of the Divide have a heart for each other and, unbeknownst to many, the other. All of us deserve to live honorably with respect and dignity. Isaiah foreshadows hope:

             ⁹ When you pray, I will answer you. When you call to me, I will respond.“If you put an end to

            oppression, to every gesture of contempt, and to every evil word; ¹⁰ if you give food to the

            hungry and satisfy those who are in need, then the darkness around you will turn to the

            brightness of noon. ¹¹ And I will always guide you and satisfy you with good things. I will keep

            you strong and well. You will be like a garden that has plenty of water, like a spring of water that

            never goes dry. ¹² Your people will rebuild what has long been in ruins, building again on the old

            foundations. You will be known as the people who rebuilt the walls, who restored the ruined

            houses.”(Isaiah 58: 9-12 Good News Translation GNT)
