Helping to Heal a Broken Humanity (Part 30)
The Hague, 4 April 2025 | If you know of a decisive story, tell the world! We're still searching.
EDITORIAL | When Facing Evil, Are You FREE to Talk About It?
The outcome often depends on the company you’re with. Even if you “agree to disagree,” you may encounter a brick wall or two.
Let’s say you’re among the religious. Try to convince them that transgender people are also created in God’s image. Some will react with shock.
Some believe we should create a utopia where everyone restricts the conversation to a ‘perfect’ set of topics. This idea is not too different from present-day North Korea, Mao Zedong’s China, or the Imperial Church of centuries past, to name a few. Should modern-day nonconformists be burned at the stake, too? Today, as I write my editorial, some nonconformists are losing their right to coexist with the rest of humanity.
Are people honestly dignified to express their opinions freely, notwithstanding that God entitles everyone to their views?
Not yet! In America, maybe? Not even in America!
I appreciate hearing what people say and how they think. Here is one:
Referencing Putin, he is a KGB thug; he is a murderer. The only thing he’s ever gonna respect is strength. If he detects weakness, he will attack the old gallon of honey, which is better than a drop of gall, as stated by President Lincoln, but does not apply to Putin.
Putin’s picture should be beside the word evil in the dictionary, and Hamas is even more evil than the Taliban unless they are destroyed; they will never stop trying to kill all the Jews that they can.
It is that simple. Their evil book (the Quran) does not allow them to love Jews or Gentiles. I’ve read the Book of Revelation, and they’re equivalent to it. There’s one god with pointy ears and a big nose. He’s hiding behind a boulder, and they say, let’s kill him, so they stone him to death, and then they celebrate. That’s what their book says. It’s an ancient holy book.

INNOCENT (IN A BRUTAL PRISON) ABROAD
The Trump administration’s latest stain on our values: sending a man without a conviction to a country where a judge ruled he couldn’t be sent.

Ordeal of Innocence
It was a big night for developments in White House mass-deportation rake steps. Let’s get right into it.
by William Kristol
Last night, Nick Miroff of the Atlantic reported that lawyers from the Trump administration acknowledged, in a court of law, that immigration officials mistakenly deported an individual with protected legal status to El Salvador’s “Terrorism Confinement Center.”
Kilmar Abrego Garcia fled gang threats in El Salvador in 2011 at age 16 and moved to the U.S. He has since lived here without a criminal record, works as a union sheet metal apprentice, is married to a U.S. citizen, and has a five-year-old child who is also a U.S. citizen. An informant falsely accused him of being in MS-13, which his lawyer denies, and there is no evidence supporting this claim. He has never been charged or convicted of any crime.
In 2019, Abrego Garcia sought asylum, and an immigration judge granted him protection from being sent to El Salvador due to fears of persecution and torture.
The administration admits in court that it “was aware of this grant of withholding of removal” and has sent Abrego Garcia to prison in El Salvador anyway.
However, the administration asserts that a U.S. court cannot correct its deliberate error. It seems unwilling to take any actions to return Abrego Garcia home.
Abrego Garcia’s attorney told Miroff, “They say the court can't order relief. “
If true, immigration laws are meaningless if the government can deport anyone, anywhere, anytime, without court oversight.
Other innocent victims from the Trump administration suffer in El Salvador’s prison.
The Trump administration's seemingly false and misleading use of the Alien Enemies Act and hurried transfer of detainees to a brutal prison in another country shows their contempt for the rule of law, further compounded by defending these actions with lies and misdirection.
I’d go further than Abrego Garcia’s lawyer. Allowing the administration’s reckless actions to stand will render immigration laws and the rule of law meaningless.
Recently, discussions have centered on the actions of other branches and public reactions to the Trump administration defying the law and U.S. court attempts to uphold it.
This is no longer a hypothetical question. The future is here, and the crisis is upon us. As a nation, we will be evaluated based on our response.

I recently spoke with Colonel Douglas Macgregor, PhD, a distinguished combat veteran who has written many insightful books on war strategy. Colonel Macgregor is also the CEO of Our Country Our Choice: https://ourcountryourchoice.com/about.
Having served as a senior official in Trump's Department of Defense, Colonel Macgregor has consistently suggested that Zelensky may ultimately have to resign, and the current conflict in Ukraine could result in significant shifts for NATO.
Considering recent developments, we appear to be nearing a crucial juncture concerning Zelensky and NATO's future.

I spoke with Oleksandr Dubinsky, who previously served in Zelensky's political party and the Ukrainian Parliament and is now a presidential candidate for Ukraine.
Despite being incarcerated for treason, Dubinsky is advocating for Zelensky's impeachment. In this interview, he offers his perspective on Zelensky's leadership in Ukraine and the nation's challenges.
* I interviewed Dubinsky in prison. I sent questions to his team, who posed the questions in jail. He then answered on camera from jail and emailed his responses back to me. As noted in the introduction, the lack of internet in the prison limited my ability to ask for follow-ups.

I spoke with US Ambassador Jack Matlock regarding his negotiations with President Reagan to conclude the Cold War.
Amb. Matlock discusses the significant resistance faced in the US, as many believed that Moscow was untrustworthy and that military pressure was the only solution. In opposition to war hawks on both sides, he viewed disarmament as the framework necessary to foster mutual trust and ultimately end the Cold War.
The Cold War concluded in 1989 through diplomatic negotiations establishing a mutual peace. Yet, two years later, the Soviet Union fell apart, and neoconservatives seized the opportunity to assert that the Cold War had been won.
It was thought that military dominance – peace through strength – bolstered the NATO expansion policy that undermined post-Cold War stability. Ambassador Matlock highlights our recurring predicament, where threatening war narratives overshadow reality, leading to a belief that military force remains the sole pathway to peace.
"Peace through strength" implies that military power can help maintain peace. Various leaders have endorsed this idea, from Roman Emperor Hadrian in the second century AD to former US President Ronald Reagan in the 1980s, and it has often been linked to realpolitik.
Reality often dictates otherwise.
EVIL INCARNATE: MACRON AND CORRUPTION
Macron has become a dictator.
The normalization of banning political opposition will lead to nowhere with adverse outcomes.
By Robert W Malone Md, Ms

Emmanuel Macron, lacking a parliamentary majority, has made France a corrupted EU government by halting free elections through the courts.
Macron’s judges turned finance violations into a criminal complaint to block his populist opponent. The EU paid Marine Le Pen’s staffers to work with MPs, but they also worked for French MPs. This is a finance violation, not embezzlement, and should not have reached court.
Macron orchestrated Le Pen's court verdict by selecting a close ally as judge. Marine Le Pen, leader of the National Rally (RN), was convicted of embezzlement and banned from public office for five years. She received a four-year prison sentence- two years suspended, two under house arrest- and a fine of €100,000 ($108,000).
This court case centered on a technicality: the EU alleged she misused funds designated for one group of employees, hiring instead for national issues. Specifically, they claimed that between 2004 and 2016, money intended for EU parliamentary aides funded staff for national party matters. Similar to the legal tactics against Trump, they leveraged finance violations from two decades ago to undermine Macron's opposition party.
The decision removed her from the 2027 presidential race, where she was a leading candidate. The political implications are so broad that most of Le Pen’s opponents claimed the Paris court overstepped its boundaries.
This is the same France that imprisoned Telegram's CEO for allowing free speech.
Macron has become a dictator.
Large political protests in France are expected soon but are unlikely to make a difference.
Arresting or banning conservative opponents has become normalized, as seen recently in Brazil and Romania. Similar tactics aim to ban the entire Alternative for Germany (AFD) party outright in Germany.
Germany’s constitution lets the Federal Constitutional Court ban parties that undermine democracy. Courts and the deep state are seeking ways to ban the AfD from elections. The German parliament will debate a ban on the AfD in a plenary session next week.
In the U.S., liberals sought to block Trump from office. In December 2023, Colorado's Supreme Court ruled him ineligible due to insurrection. The U.S. Supreme Court later overturned this. This intervention ended the last election antics, and we can expect this tactic in future elections.
Liberals are using lawfare to obstruct President Trump's agenda through liberal judges in lower courts who misapply their roles to hinder his policies.
Be careful what you wish.
In Romania, my conservative friend George Simion led the polls after the presidential candidate Călin Georgescu was banned from office.
Romanians recognize totalitarianism and reject it. If Călin Georgescu can’t run, voters will support his endorsed candidate, George-Nicolae Simion.
The graphic shows Georgescu received 22% and Simion 13% of the vote in the fall election, totaling 35%. A March 2025 poll indicated Simion gained most of Georgescu’s support, polling at 30% ahead of the May 4 presidential election.
The Strong Republic is our only hope.
The U.S. Constitution shields us from abuses. We must defend our republic, as attacks will halt our democracy.
While “Saving democracy” sounds appealing, preserving democracy hinges on safeguarding our republic.

I discussed the U.S. involvement in Yemen with Judge Napolitano.
It's surprising how the text messages have turned into quite an embarrassment for the Trump administration, showing that neoconservatives still hold significant sway.
This has resulted in instances where the “America First” principle appears neglected, as evident in J. D. Vance’s comment that the attack was a misstep.
There are genuine worries that the U.S. could be pulled into a broader conflict with Iran as a result of Israel's actions.
BIDEN LIED ABOUT EVERYTHING, INCLUDING NUCLEAR RISK, DURING UKRAINE OPERATION
A groundbreaking exposé by the New York Times quotes insensitive "U.S. officials” and reveals a significant betrayal of American voters and Ukraine.
A new expose reveals years of official lies about the U.S., NATO, and Ukraine.

From “The Secret History of the War in Ukraine” in the New York Times:
At a hastily arranged meeting on the Polish border, General Zaluzhny admitted to Generals Cavoli and Aguto that the Ukrainians had decided to mount assaults in three directions at once.
“That’s not the plan!” General Cavoli cried…
Fifteen months into the war, it all came to this tipping point.
“We should have walked away,” said a senior American official.
But they would not.
When Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky visited the White House last month, the New York Times filled its pages with stories condemning Donald Trump and J. D. Vance for abandoning Ukraine and criticizing a friendly foreign leader. The Times, like most Western outlets, has long suggested that anything less than strong support for war betrays the “democratic world order” and results in immediate battlefield deaths.
With the war seemingly lost, foreign newspapers (not here) report an alleged bombing of Putin’s motorcade while NATO's future appears precarious. The Times has published a 13,000-word “Secret History” revealing that U.S. officials who criticized Trump and voters for speaking out have now concluded they should likely “walk away.”
The piece is a comprehensive betrayal of Zelensky and Ukraine, worse than Trump's “dressing down. " Authored by controversial intel expert Adam Entous, it cites 300 American and European officials reacting to their sidelining with shameless tantrums, behavior that would get military personnel shot. They expose operational secrets and use the Times to deflect blame onto Slavic partners, depicted as ignorant savages who lost an America-designed victory. It’s one of the most morally abhorrent pieces of ass-covering I’ve seen.
NATO leaders in the Ukraine war are so pleased they boast about actions that could provoke anger among Americans. Entous shares a story detailing how America was more involved in the war than we realized, indicating it was concealed from us. Sources confirm the public was continually misled and describe the deceptive tactics used, thinking they were clever. Some were minor semantic tricks, but the central revelation is a significant and inexcusable lie: from Joe Biden on down, they misrepresented the risk of World War III.
They knowingly risked our and our children’s lives for politics. Afraid to admit mistakes, they crafted individual excuses while bureaucratic inertia expanded the conflict. Additionally, after the November election, the Biden administration increased global conflict risks by allowing ATACMS and British Storm Shadow strikes into Russia to support his Ukraine project. Comparing this “secret history” with contemporary statements from American and European leaders reveals unimaginable lies. Heads need to roll for this:
Like all war histories, The Entous feature begins as a tale of triumph. Two months after NATO provoked Russia to invade Ukraine in late February 2022, two Ukrainian generals were picked up in Kyiv and driven across the Polish border by British commandos. They then flew to Clay Kaserne, U.S. Army Europe and Africa headquarters in Wiesbaden, Germany.
Lt. Gen. Mykhaylo Zabrodskyi remembered being led to a walkway overlooking the garrison’s Tony Bass Auditorium, where he viewed a warren of makeshift cubicles organizing Western shipments to Ukraine of artillery batteries and 155-millimeter shells. This area, now a full-fledged headquarters, was once a gym for Army band performances and Cub Scout events.
Gymnasium at U.S. base in Wiesbaden, Germany
Entous is leading us down a rabbit hole. The cubicles he mentioned became the war’s command center.
In Wiesbaden’s command center, American and Ukrainian officers planned Kyiv’s counteroffensives, supported by extensive American intelligence that guided strategy and provided precise targeting for Ukrainian soldiers.
A European intelligence chief was surprised to discover how involved his N.A.T.O. counterparts were in Ukrainian operations.
“They are part of the kill chain now,” he said.
Wiesbaden cubicle-dwellers relayed intel to Ukrainians, leading to repeated destruction of targets by Ukrainians. A mid-2022 rocket barrage killed generals and staff officers. At the same time, a predawn swarm of maritime drones supported by the CIA attacked Sevastopol, serving as early proof of the concept that boosted confidence.
The “arc of the war changed” as Ukrainians started making their moves:
Ukrainians viewed Americans as overbearing and patronizing, while Americans struggled to see why Ukrainians didn’t embrace good advice. Americans focused on achievable goals, seeing Ukrainians as always chasing big wins.
Ukrainians increasingly kept their intentions secret and were angered by America’s reluctance to provide the necessary weapons, avoiding politically risky support. The Times sources blamed Ukraine's internal politics for the early 2023 attempt to recapture the city of Bakhmut. In May, the Times referred to Bakhmut as an “apparent loss” with more symbolic than strategic value for Russia. On Sunday, Entous described Bakhmut as a “stillborn failure.” After this candor, Entous reflected on another perspective.
The partnership operated under deep geopolitical fear — that Mr. Putin might view it as breaching a red line of military engagement and acting on his nuclear threats.
The partnership was the focus. Officials worried that creating the “we see it, Ukraine smashes it” collaboration, touted as a “killing machine,” could be seen as a “red line” by Putin, who might act on his nuclear threats.
If you’re wondering when an American official acknowledged a non-zero threat of nuclear retaliation during this conflict, the answer is never. Biden and others consistently claimed, “World War III won’t be fought in Ukraine,” as the U.S. was not deploying its troops.
The Times reports that while Biden spoke, his administration repeatedly authorized previously prohibited clandestine operations. This led to dispatching advisers to Kyiv and closer to combat, fearing further escalation. The military and CIA were permitted to strike deep inside Russia, prompting insights from Entous:
In some ways, Ukraine was, in a broader canvas, a rematch in a long history of U.S.-Russia proxy wars: Vietnam in the 1960s, Afghanistan in the 1980s, and Syria later. It also served as a significant war-fighting experiment that benefited Ukrainians and provided valuable lessons for Americans in future conflicts.
We were frequently scolded that this was not a “proxy war” or a quagmire like Vietnam or Afghanistan. From April 28, 2022, when this “partnership” left Wiesbaden, Biden explicitly denied we were in a proxy war, stating that Russia made such claims to excuse their failures in Ukraine.
Concerns grew over the effectiveness of American Howitzer batteries. Initially effective against Russian troops, they adapted to operate beyond the 15-mile range of those shells. Ukraine and some American and NATO officials urged the administration to deploy HIMARS, capable of striking targets up to 50 miles away. This marked a turning point for the Biden administration.
The debate showed Americans’ evolving thoughts. Pentagon officials hesitated to deplete limited HIMARS stocks. In May, General Cavoli visited Washington and made a compelling case. At the White House, Mr. Biden and his advisers weighed that against concerns that pressuring Russia could provoke Mr. Putin into escalating the war. When the generals requested HIMARS, one official recalled feeling “on the brink of World War III.”
Unbelievable! Since June 2022, the U.S. has delivered HIMARS missiles to Ukraine, indicating the White House's concern about World War III and nuclear war, despite claims to the contrary. Many actions followed HIMARS, documented by Entous, who summarized the nuclear war fears as “red lines.”
Upgrading from HIMARS to ATACMS missiles, which expanded range to 190 miles, became a sore point for the Biden administration, as Russian commander Gerasimov had warned General Milley that anything flying 190 miles would breach a red line.
After the Bakhmut disaster, the U.S. raised the stakes. “A year ago, the coalition talked victory,” Entous said. “As 2024 arrived, the Biden administration had to keep crossing its red lines to support Ukrainians.” Entous noted that the “red lines kept moving,” with ATACMS followed by SMEs, or American military advisers, whose numbers in Kyiv tripled as failures mounted.
They crossed the Russian border, a calculated risk for the administration.
The Russian offensive revealed a key asymmetry: Russians can support their troops with artillery from across the border, while Ukrainians cannot respond effectively with American equipment or intelligence. Yet, with peril comes opportunity. Russians felt secure, thinking Americans wouldn’t allow Ukrainians to attack Russia. Entire units and equipment sat undefended in fields.
Who could pass up the opportunity? The Biden administration created an “ops box” north of Kharkiv, encompassing an area nearly as large as New Jersey. Ukrainians can conduct operations using American weapons and intelligence. In line with the media's cautious nature, we were informed that this decision went “against the generals’ recommendation” (perhaps some wish to retain their rankings). Many observers believed using American weapons and personnel against Russians in Russia risked dragging the U.S. into a nuclear conflict. Concerned individuals were labeled alarmists and accused of pro-Putin sentiments. Now, Entous reports that American officials share these feelings after “ops box” attacks began:
Wiesbaden’s key points and Ukrainian intelligence enabled HIMARS strikes to defend Kharkiv. The Russians faced heavy casualties; the unthinkable had become real. The U.S. was now involved in killing Russian soldiers on their soil.
We heard no concerns like this. We were told that the risk of World War III lay with Putin, and any nuclear threat would not involve Europe or the U.S. but Ukraine. Former Ambassador Michael McFaul called nuclear combat a “low probability event, " stating Russia had no reason to strike at us as they face no existential threat. " NATO is not going to invade Russia.”
A year later, America was involved in killing Russians on their soil.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his far-right supporters showed little concern for the nearly two million Gazans caught in the war triggered by Hamas eighteen months ago, as they launched continuous bombing in response to the October 7 attack.
They were merely collateral damage. Israel stands unrepentant and is poised to initiate another cycle of retribution.
On March 18, Netanyahu violated a ceasefire with Hamas by approving airstrikes that killed around four hundred Gazans. He falsely claimed it was in response to Hamas's refusal to release more Israeli hostages.
His goal was to confront the estimated twenty to twenty-five thousand surviving Hamas fighters in Gaza, many operating in isolation or small units armed with only pistols and rifles.
After October 7, Netanyahu reassured his citizens that Hamas would face an “ unprecedented price” for staying in power for killing more than twelve hundred Israelis and capturing 251 hostages. He was sincere in his words, but neither he nor the Israeli public anticipated that Hamas would still be holding firm. Unfortunately, more than fifty thousand Gazans, most of whom are women and children, would tragically lose their lives due to Israeli air and ground assaults. These numbers might be much more impactful, especially when we consider the countless individuals who are injured and grappling with psychological trauma due to ongoing bombings, as well as the lack of essential needs like food, clean water, housing, and healthcare.
Support for the Israeli air war waned as international sympathy grew for the Gazans who were murdered and injured. The civilian death toll continued to rise while the bombings remained unyielding. Despite facing significant challenges- loss of leadership, shortages of supplies, and the destruction of crucial underground tunnels- Hamas endured. Early on, Israel promised a quick victory, but this was accompanied by thousands of airstrikes on the homes and institutions in Gaza, extending the conflict. Now, Netanyahu is reaching out to his supporters in Israel, particularly the extreme far right, a group of religious zealots who have ignited tensions in the West Bank and now seek to transform northern Gaza into a settlement area as its citizens are once again forced to evacuate southward. In a complex alliance, he intends to meet the zealots’ demands, and in return, they will contribute to maintaining his position. It's a troubling partnership born from tragedy.
And now the Israeli Defense Forces, whose mid-level officer leadership is also dominated—or close to it—by religious zealots, is going to be ordered back into Gaza. It is projected to be a war-waged house-to-house, tunnel-to-tunnel, in shootouts. Netanyahu’s goal is to hunt down and kill the remaining thousands of Hamas fighters. Call it an extermination operation. I’ve seen no estimates of projected IDF casualties amid estimates that as many as five divisions of Israeli troops and reservists—possibly many more—will go once again to war on the ground. There are ten thousand troops in an IDF division.
Israel’s war in Gaza hardly paused during the broken ceasefire. Israeli troops have been increasingly present in Gaza and the West Bank, and targeted killings, especially of Arab journalists, have steadily intensified in both zones. But it must be noted that Israel, despite its overwhelming ground forces, unchallenged air power, and a steady supply of US bombs and other munitions, could not win the war. And so Netanyahu will try again.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu returned to the Tel Aviv courtroom he despises on Monday. He might have felt triumphant after successfully passing the state budget the week before, which could sustain his government until late 2026. However, the day turned into a series of crises.
It was just late morning when his testimony was cut short by the news that two of his advisers had been arrested in connection with the ongoing Qatargate scandal. He then had to quickly leave his trial to provide testimony to the police—not as a detainee or a suspect, but it was still an unpleasant situation.
- Why Netanyahu is now peddling the 'deep state' conspiracy theory
- The way to deal with power-hungry bullies like Netanyahu and his fundamentalist partners
- Occupation comes home: No Israeli is safe under Netanyahu, just as no Palestinian is
Previously, he intended to issue a political statement and demonstrate constitutional authority by appointing a new Shin Bet security service chief, having announced weeks before that he was terminating the current head, Ronen Bar. Bar had publicly alleged that Netanyahu was attempting to evade the investigations in Qatar. That dismissal is currently subject to a temporary injunction from the High Court. However, Netanyahu's maneuver unraveled into a debacle: it was revealed that his appointee, Eli Sharvit, a former navy commander, participated in an anti-government protest in 2023, causing unrest within Netanyahu's party ranks.
In January, Sharvit penned an article criticizing Donald Trump, cautioning that the U.S. president would hinder efforts to tackle climate change. GOP Sen. Lindsey Graham, who had previously been attacked as a traitor by Trump supporters just four years prior, rushed to defend his leader with a remarkable tweet condemning Sharvit and labeling his appointment as "beyond problematic."
Did Netanyahu need a nasty, patronizing, personalized ("To my Israeli friends") slap down from Graham on this day? By Tuesday, Netanyahu had reversed Sharvit's sort-of appointment. So who's the f****** superpower here?
However grim the situation may appear, Netanyahu views it as a temporary hurdle. Much like an escape room, you will ultimately find a way out. But the question remains: how?
Parallel worlds in action
Much has been made of Benjamin Netanyahu's capacity to lie. However, his precisely curated external image—speeches, video statements, posts, and Knesset, government, and court appearances—shows something more complex.

The UK government requires anyone employed by the Russian state in Britain to register under a “foreign influence” system by summer or face up to five years in prison.
Security Secretary Dan Jarvis announced in parliament on Tuesday that individuals working under agreements with certain Russian state institutions must register with the Foreign Influence Registration Scheme (FIRS).
Officials describe the measure, now extended to cover those working for Iran, as a tool for national security against foreign interference. Russia is placed in the scheme’s strictest category.
“Russia represents a serious threat to national security,” Jarvis told MPs.
Foreign Secretary David Lammy stated that Moscow has pursued a hostile policy towards the UK. He mentioned harassment of diplomats, cyber operations, and attempts to recruit spies for sabotage on British soil.
READ MORE: US intelligence warns of Russian media ‘threat’
Under the new system, individuals connected to multiple branches of the Russian state, including the president, parliament, ministries, intelligence services, armed forces, police, judiciary, and state-controlled parties, must declare their UK activities.
The measure follows a March decision to classify Iran’s government, intelligence services, and the Revolutionary Guard Corps under the highest FIRS scrutiny.
The British government warns that non-compliance with registration could lead to prosecution and imprisonment.
Western governments have accused Russia of foreign influence through disinformation, cyberattacks, and covert political support, starting with claims of interference in the 2016 US elections, later debunked. Russia denies these claims as unfounded and politically motivated.
NETANYAHU AIDE LOBBIES WHITE HOUSE TO IMPOSE U.S. SANCTIONS ON ISRAELI ANTI-GOV'T PROTEST GROUPS

A contractor for the Prime Minister's Office is urging the Trump administration to sanction civil society groups that are organizing protests against the prime minister. Caroline Glick argues that these groups are inciting a "rebellion" against Israel's elected government and threatening U.S. "national interests."
Glick seeks sanctions, including an entry ban on affected organization employees, asset freezes, and a ban on Americans engaging with Israeli banks that don't close these accounts. Sources indicate that Glick informed the Prime Minister's Office that her overseas colleagues "understand" and are receptive to sanctions.
Nonetheless, the extent to which this idea has been discussed within the White House remains unclear. Additionally, no proposal regarding this matter has yet reached U.S. President Donald Trump's desk.
- Israel's protest movement pinned its hopes on generals to overthrow the king.
- The best way to resist Netanyahu's government is simple: don't enlist in the IDF
- Trump administration threatens Harvard's federal grants over 'illegal' Gaza war protests.
Glick, appointed in February, joined Prime Minister Netanyahu on his Washington trip and is close to his son, Yair. They previously cohosted a program on Radio Galey Israel and shared similar conspiracy theories, including one about the Israeli "deep state. "
The prime minister has endorsed this conspiracy theory, thanks to Glick's support. She shared his posts about the matter on X.
Sources told Haaretz that Glick informed the Prime Minister's Office she is introducing a new, uncompromising approach against the deep state.
Glick isn't the only advocate for sanctions on civil society groups. Moshe Cohen-Eliya, a Channel 14 analyst, has also urged Trump and Elon Musk to impose sanctions.
Glick called the report "totally wrong," while the Prime Minister's Office labeled it "complete fake news," stating Glick hasn't contacted anyone in the White House or elsewhere regarding sanctions on Israeli citizens or civilian entities.
