28Prosper! Reproduce! Fill Earth! Take charge (Stewardship)!
Be responsible for fish in the sea and birds in the air,
for every living thing that moves on the face of the Earth.”

Human Stewardship (Dominion) of the Earth

St. Peter’s Square, The Vatican – 10 November 2002 | Ultimately, the Earth belongs to God; however, humans have been given the duty to care for it (Genesis 1: 28). The Spiritual Meaning of Mountains

Mountains have long inspired the human soul. In scripture, they are often regarded as sacred sites for encountering God and represent the human journey to reach the Creator.

Mountains in Daily Life

Beyond serving as places for rest and leisure, mountains are vital for those whose daily work is often solitary and requires perseverance. As shared heritage, they deserve respect, careful preservation, and appreciation by everyone.

Mountains as a Collective Resource

Recognized as collective assets, mountains must be preserved for the benefit and well-being of all humanity.
